If you have a piece of furniture that you want to update or just want to change it's colour to match your new decorating scheme, then why not commission us to do it for you.
We are more than happy to carry out work to your instruction. With a background in art and design we can suggest ways that we can rework your furniture to achieve the look you want. Email us a picture of your furniture and we'll artwork it in Photoshop so you can get an idea of how it could look.
Below are some pictures of the furniture we have already reworked for existing customers.
Sand top back to original and paint
Customer brought us the usual orange coloured pine table. We sanded the top back to original and then painted the base and legs in Annie Sloan Old White. A little light distressing before waxing together with matching chairs made this set look great.
Commissioned to change to a more distressed Vintage look
The customer loved their pine double bed but hated the orange pine colour. They asked us to hand paint it in Rust-Oleum Antique White Furniture paint with a Bramble Green top coat and then heavily distress it to give the bed an aged, antique look. We then treated it to 2 coats of clear wax to provide a durable finish.
Commissioned to update sideboard into something more Modern
We are asked by the client to update an old mahogany sideboard, making it more modern and paint it blue, such was our only brief. We decided to change all of the handles and hand paint the sideboard in Grand Illusions Gulls Egg, lightly distress it and apply clear wax for a durable finish.
Commissioned to match existing Laura Ashley Furniture
The client wanted us to make her old pine double bed match her new Laura Ashley Furniture. Hand painted in Annie Sloan Old White, lightly aged to highlight some of the features and clear waxed to provide protection.
